H.P. Lovecraft is one of the most important literary figures in horror and weird fiction. Unappreciated and virtually unrecognized during his lifetime, he was only popular in the realm of amateur journalism and pulp fiction.

He has now received worldwide acclaim and many of his works have been adapted into movies, television, comic books, role-playing games, and computer games. He has been the subject of much literary study and is also respected as a poet, critic, philosopher and scholar.

This Web Page is both a fan site and a continuing online research project. This website includes original essays on his life and works including various commentary on his influence in popular culture and literature. This is a serious Lovecraft site focusing on his merit as a literary figure and does not advocate the belief of or the existence of any part of the Cthulhu Mythos. Welcome!
